Horse & RV Park, B- Building, Arenas, Grandstands

Can I get a refund on my reservation?

All reservations are non-refundable. 

How long can I stay in the RV park?

We accept reservations for one week at a time, and full payment is required at the time of booking. Please note that we do not offer discounted weekly rates. If you are interested in staying on a weekly basis, we kindly ask that you contact our office directly at 208-237-1340 for further assistance.

Do you have tent or dry camping rates?

We do not offer separate rates for tent or dry camping. Guests who choose to tent or dry camp are still required to pay the full site rate based on the location. The rate is $35 per night in the South RV Park and $45 per night in the North RV Park, regardless of the type of setup."

Can I plug into the power outlets around the arenas?

You must pay to use our amenities. Please call our office at 208-237-1340 for further questions.

I rented the B-Building, can I bring my own adult beverages?

Yes, as long as it is for personal consumption and not for re-sale. You must obtain a Bannock County Catering Permit if you plan to serve alcohol. They are generally $20 for the day of your event. (Link/PDF)

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed on a leash. Horses and livestock are not allowed in the RV park. Learn more about stall rentals.

Do you have a dump station? If so, what is the cost?

Yes, the dump station is available for guests who have purchased an RV site. We do not provide hoses and there is no additional cost.

Can I sell alcohol at a personal event, fundraiser, tournament, etc.?

No, Bannock County holds the alcohol license. You can bring your own alcohol for personal consumption with a catering permit obtained from Bannock County, but you cannot sell it.

Can I let my horses out in the arenas to stretch their legs or stall them overnight in the arenas?

No, our arenas are not to be used as horse stalls or for free running stock.  

Can I bring my horses and ride in the arenas outside of the timeframe of riding passes?

Yes, if the arena is not rented and with the understanding that we do not prep the arenas when they are not rented.


Events Complex

Can I bring my food truck and sell anywhere on the complex?

You must be invited by an event or by Bannock County to sell on the complex. You are required to pay a $90 plus an event fee if applicable. Interested in selling? Email us at vendors@bannockcouty.gov.

I rented a pavilion, can I bring my own adult beverages?

Yes, as long as it is for personal consumption and not for re-sale. Events and large gatherings require a permit through Bannock County.

Is there a life guard?

There is no lifeguard on duty at the reservoir. For your safety, please enjoy activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding at your own risk. We encourage all guests to use caution and follow appropriate safety guidelines while on or near the water.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but they are allowed in the park on a leash. Pet waste stations are located throughout the complex.

Can I bring my kids / friends and use the multi-use fields, pavilions, volleyball courts, basketball courts, or any other rentable space without a reservation?

Yes, as long as the space is not reserved. Please check our calendar or call our office for more questions.

Can I host a run / walk at the complex?

Yes, with a formal agreement made with Bannock County. Please reach out to us at 208-237-1340 for more information. Keep in mind we do not block off or close areas of the park for your event.


The Port

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

All ticket sales are final; we do not issue refunds for concert tickets.

Can I bring in food, drinks, or coolers?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue. We provide a variety of food trucks, concessions, and adult beverages available for purchase. Please note that we offer beer and seltzers only no outside liquor is allowed.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

If you purchased your ticket through our preferred ticketing platform, we re happy to assist with an upgrade! The card on file from your original purchase will be charged for the upgrade.
Please note: We re only able to process upgrades for tickets bought through our prefered ticketing platform. If your ticket was purchased elsewhere, we will be unable to assist you.

What if the concert gets canceled due to rain? Do you issue rain checks?

Since we are an outdoor venue, our shows are rain or shine. If lightning strikes are detected within 5 miles of the venue, we will evacuate as a safety precaution.
In the event of a venue evacuation, all show updates (re-entry or cancelation) will be announced via our email list, Facebook, and Radio (specific stations will be announced on social media). Don t trust the rumor mill! Check the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre Facebook page or check the email address you bought your tickets with.

Can I bring cushioned stadium seats?

Yes, as long as the stadium seat does not have any metal pieces. No lawn chairs allowed.

Can I bring my breast pump/diaper bag/water for formula?

Yes, diaper bags are allowed we just ask that you pack light and bring only the essentials. All bags are subject to search upon entry. Remember, you are in our venue for a short time not a long time.

Factory-sealed water bottles for mixing formula are permitted, and additional water is available for purchase at our concession stands. Breast pumps are also welcome; however, please note that we do not have family restrooms on site.  

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my infant child?

Children under 3 years old do not require a ticket for entry. Children age 3 and older will need a regular ticket. We do not offer discounted children's pricing.

Is there an Uber/Lyft drop off/pick up area?

Yes, we have two designated areas for ride share drop off and pick up locations, the Pre-Party and Box Office/ Will Call. Please refer to our map for the locations.

Is the Pre-Party for VIP only?

Our Pre-Party is for all ticket holders. Come early to secure the best parking spot and avoid lines! Once you have been through security and your ticket is scanned, you are in! No re-entry is allowed.

Can I purchase tickets at the gate?

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the Box Office before the show. The Box Office typically opens one hour before the pre-party begins. Be sure to check our social media pages for the latest updates posted ahead of each concert for detailed timing and info.

Can I purchase a season pass?

Currently, season passes are only available for suites not general tickets.

What kind of food do you serve?

We partner with a variety of local food trucks that rotate throughout the season. We also offer general concessions inside the venue.

Does parking cost extra?

Currently parking is free and first come first served. Arrive early to secure the best spots. Please check our maps to see all the parking areas avaliable.

Is smoking allowed inside the venue?

Smoking is not allowed in the seating areas, pit, concession lines, or other common spaces. We ask that all guests be courteous and respectful of others.

What size bag can I bring inside the venue?

To ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests, we follow a Clear Bag Policy that limits the size and type of bags allowed into the venue. Approved bags include:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12"" x 12"" x 6""
  • Clear, one gallon-sized freezer bag
  • One small clutch, purse, or wallet no larger than 4.5"" x 6.5"" (about the size of a hand), with or without a handle or strap

Please note that all bags are subject to inspection. We recommend reviewing this policy before arriving to help ensure a smooth entry experience."                      

Can I sell my products at the venue? (i.e. Girl Scout Cookies, T-shirts, crafts, etc.)

No, all vendors must be invited to an event and receive proper permission and pay the fee to sell items.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes. Any found items will be temporarily stored at the Bannock County Events Complex office (10588 Fairgrounds Drive). Please note that we are not responsible for any lost or unclaimed items.  

I am an independent promoter and would like to hold a concert in the Amphitheatre. Is that an option?

Possibly! We have existing agreements in place with the Amphitheatre that may allow for outside events. Please contact our office at 208-237-1340 to discuss the opportunity and explore how we might be able to work together.
